Mentored by W. Edwards Deming and some of his key associates, his experience includes management of quality programs from the plant floor up to the corporate level in the Asia-Pacific (China, Japan,, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand), European (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Benelux), Latin American (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina), and North American regions. He holds international patents on target-based process monitoring and has published in peer reviewed quality journals such as The American Statistician and Journal for Paint and Coatings Technology.
